Running this game on a new laptop, Windows 7, 3 gb ram, Pentium dual-core T4200 2ghz.
With an xbox 360 controller, the game was frustrating, without it the game was impossible.
Clumsy camera (can only see the view/angle the game wants you to see which makes many MANY jumps impossible to judge because you can’t move around to see where the rope or bridge or rock really is in relation to where your character is. Dumbest, most frustrating gaming flaw EVER.)
Gameplay is like being on rails. Can only go places and do things exactly the way the programmers want you to.
Amazon does not take trade-ins of PC games, and apparently nobody else does either, so once you buy a pc game, you’re stuck with it. (did not know this going in)
I love video games, but I’ll be the first to admit that I’m terrible at them. A friend of mine introduced me to the Lego games, which are easy enough for me to play but aren’t babyish or too incredibly simplistic.
As the title says, this game follows the first three movies in the Indiana Jones franchise. I’m not going to bother giving an overly long description of the movies since I’m assuming that if you are interested in this game, you are aware of the movies.
Down to the nitty gritty: this game rocked. The controls are very easy to learn & manipulate, plus the character control is pretty interesting. The only downside to the game is that you can’t control the camera angles & many times you’ll find yourself in an awkward camera angle that you’ll wish you could change but can’t. Once you finish a level, you can replay it again & again with various different characters that you can either earn through gameplay or purchase at the game’s basic level.
If you have a wii, like Indiana Jones & great games, you NEED this game.
Indiana Jones is a fantastic franchise, Harrison Ford is an incredible actor and plays his scenes brilliantly, the action is exciting and directing this franchise is possibly the best director ever Steven Spielberg, but alas I’m a wimp and I can’t stand the slightest bit of blood so I’ve never watched any of those films. So I was very excited when I found out there was going to be a LEGO version of the Indiana Jones franchise. It follows Indy in his first three adventures, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Temple of Doom, and the Last Crusade. The game play design is very similar to LEGO Star Wars design, and the typical LEGO humor is still there. Also this is a family friendly game, the LEGO villains just break apart after their killed nothing gruesome. Now this is not just a fighting game, you also have to solve puzzles and that’s what makes this game terrific. Now for younger children I’d recommend purchasing a guide it can get frustrating at times, or maybe the parents can step in and solve the puzzle the kids stuck on.
There are three things to collect in each level, there is a gold stud meter on the top of your screen which becomes fuller and fuller each time you smash LEGO objects and collect their studs. These coins help you unlock cheats. You also can collect ten hidden treasures in each level. Last of all, in each level you can also collect one parcel and place it in the hidden mail box to be able to buy cheats. And it’s not easy; I can tell you that, sometimes you really have to try certain things. I love challenges and this game gives me that element that so many games don’t have. There are two play modes, story mode, where you watch LEGO sequences and play with the two selected characters chosen for the episode, and free play, where you can play as whoever you want. But it’s not a useless mode, in fact many treasures and parcels can only be found with numerous characters. There’s an army soldier with a bazooka gun, he can help you blow up an item that’s impossible to break with a pistol. Some women can scream to break glass, Indy’s whip can pick up certain items. There over sixty characters to unlock in all! And they all have different abilities. So as you can see, there’s great replay value here. Now when you finish a level, you can decide to continue to the next chapter or go to the college, and let me tell you the college is so much fun. There are numerous rooms to choose from, and there’s also a room where you can create your own character. There’s tons of looks to choose from and it’s a lot of fun too.
Now you may think the controls will be difficult but they’re not. They’re very simple and if you still are confused there is a pamphlet included that features many of the moves you can do throughout the game. And just like LEGO Star Wars there’s a two player mode, and it’s so much fun. But, your characters have to be close by or the screen will just stay still so younger kids might get frustrated if they want to go seperate ways, I’m just warning you parents. Also, you can join in and drop out any time you want. Did I mention the graphics? They’re very impressive for a PlayStation 2 game, there almost as good as the PlayStation 3 version.
After you get 100% LEGO studs start falling all over the college and it’s a nice way to show you have completed the game, it’s just so much fun so if you haven’t purchased LEGO Indiana Jones the Original Adventures yet, I’d recommend purchasing it very soon.
(Oh by the way, there are three secret levels in the college, but I’m not going to tell you how to find them, you’ll have to figure out how to unlock them yourself.)
Adios Amigos!
I got this for my 7 yr. old grandson for his birthday. He was having a little difficultity with it but he is learning how to play. It’s a fun learning experience for him.
I payed $10 for this product. At first I was pleased with the product, but after a month, my screen was damaged and still is. In fact a crack appeared as a result of the “screen protector”. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this product.
I bought this for my PSP slim and lite (PSP-2000), and while it works, this product was intended for the fullsize PSP. If you accidentally nudge one of the bottom catches while playing a game, it can send the protector flying (literally). While humorous, this does not help to protect the screen as the flying screen protector could boomerang back and hit the handheld.
However, after getting used to have the screen protector on the slim and lite, I no longer “eject” the protector. Also, there is still a small gap between the protector and the handheld case, potentially allowing dust to get between the screen and protector. Overall, for X dollars, it does the job.
I am very happy with this and the people I bought it from. Very fast service and this is exactly what I wanted. Still looking for some screws to hold it on the PSP a little better. Don’t get me wrong it won’t move I just want to make sure it doesn’t move.
It was supposed to protect my screen but instead a speck of dust got under the screen and scratched up the glass. Do yourself a favor and get a peel on/off screen protector.
The carrying case is cheap and flimsy and the strap in not adjustable. But it work to protect the screen and to prevent drops.
You will not find this product as cheap as you do on here. Good product!
The quality of the pouch is kind of bad. But it does protect your PSP until you can find a better one and invest on a better pouch
This is the best carrying case for the PSP, in my opinion. I have the Logitech Playgear case and find it too bulky for everyday use. Normally, I just use the hard case when I pack my PSP for traveling. Most of the time, I just use the soft-case.
Opening the Amazon box today I found two of my skins I ordered. One for my PSP and one for my DS. I’ve yet to try the DS one since it’s back in my tent and I’m at work right now (I’m in Iraq). The skins come inside a little plastic bag which didnt really bother me since the box protected it.
The skin for the PSP comes in 4 pieces. One big one for the front and 3 little sectional little ones for the back. Also along with it comes a screen protector and a little plastic pieces to help squeeze out any air bubbles. All the buttons and holes are cut out, but you have to peel them off which was no trouble at all. Even the lights and speakers got cut outs. Peelin off the pieces from the main sticker was pretty easy. I had one hang up, but it didnt damage the main skin at all. The skin itself is also a little thick in a good way… such as letting you know it’s a somewhat quality product and not some sticker you get from a 25 cent junk machine as you leave your grocery store.
The skin itself is pretty easy to apply especially if you have steady hands… which I dont..lol. All the buttons have free range of motion also if you put it on correctly. Also the screen is fully viewable. Not one bit of the screen is covered by the skin. The back is of course a lot easier to put on. Just 3 big stickers. Hardest part is making sure you line them up right so they dont look stupid. The UMD door also has free range of motion.
I really like this skin and how good it looks on my silver PSP Slim.
This is a great purchase, a definite must for psp owners. Easy to attach, doesn’t effect gameplay, and does a great job protecting your PSP. My husband has put his thru the ringer and his psp is good as new. Protect your investment, purchase this product.
The memory stick was exactly what was described, it arrived on time and was half the price of other dealers in town. Excellent price and delivery.
The memory chip was the only thing I was missing for my PSP and I saved money through you guys…. Thanks
The best price found anywhere on line or in stores and works fantastic in our PSP.
This product was very good. It was cheaper then anyplace else and it works great. It even came with an adapter for an SD card Slot.
I loved the first lego star wars game. And this one is just as good. Highly replayable, and funny. buy it if you like any of the other lego games (Indiana Jones or batman.)
