i actually psp mp3 all ready got the philips mp3 player but havent opened it yet.i think its worth it to get the psp but i need a little more help..

I purchased this product with the hope I could enjoy gaming on my PSP 1000 and have the sound come from my home stereo without the need for obnoxious and conspicuous wires. I’m glad to say that I was not disappointed and the product works perfectly for my needs.
I’m now able to relax comfortably in my bed while playing and have the sound from my PSP play loud and clear from my audio receiver which is about 15 feet away. I wanted this because headphones become uncomfortable for me after wearing them for about an hour and the built in speakers for the PSP 1000 are very poor IMO. Games like Persona and Final Fantasy Dissidia sound great coming from a 1000 watt stereo and are so much enjoyable to me because I’m no longer encumbered with headphones.
Just keep in mind that this product is for the PSP 1000 “fat” and is not compatible with the newer models. One more thing is that the product can only be used with the PSP; the way that the 3.5mm audio jack is situated on the device prevents any other gadget like a MP3 player from being connected to it. That was my only real disappointment with the device…
The build quality of the device is excellent as well and looks good when connected to the PSP. I actually enjoy the extra size the device adds to the PSP as I’m able to rest my PSP on my chest as I lay on my bed without the screen being obscured by my blanket. Heh, don’t mean to give anyone the creeps here but before I had a problem with the PSP’s bottom screen being obscured when resting it on my chest. This device eliminates that problem.
Nothing more to say really except I love the device and I’m very satisfied with the performance. Griffin Technology makes quality mp3 player and portable gaming accessories and this device is no exception.
