I like this better then the first psp the 1000. Games look allot better, can be played during the day now, when I am outside,(the original did not look clear when outside in the sun light) and the load times are faster. I’ll just say I really enjoy the psp, it’s truly a portable ps2 and is great for road trips, plain flights and long waits at any doctor’s office. It’s allot of fun for me.

Recommended PSP games and would all games work on different version of psp?
I'm planning to buy a psp this month and I want to ask you guys some nice games available on the psp. Any title comes to mind?
Just after the release of Sony PSP-3000 this year with some advanced features, the brand is once again preparing to launch its portable gaming zone by late 2009 with more refreshing features in it. Eurogamer’s publishing sources cited that Sony is preparing to refresh the PSP and expected to release Sony PSP-4000 this year with more advanced features in it. No further details have been provided by Sony regarding this. There is a craze among gamers regarding the Sony PSP-4000 and they wish to know about Sony’s opinion on PSP-4000. The features of the PSP-3000 had been enthralling with clearer screen and brighter display and the PSP-4000 is expected to have more advanced features with new improvements than a complete overhaul.
If this is really going to be true, then it would be great to see what new features Sony includes in this already popular PSP hardware. According to many gamers there is expectation that Nintendo is also preparing to launch its Nintendo DSi North America in the mid of 2009 and the late 2009 could be the right time for psp hardware Sony to launch its PSP-4000. The Sony PSP-4000 could give a good counter to the DSi with new model and features in it. But the issue of the release of the Sony PSP-4000 is controversial because there is no official announcement from Sony themselves. So what is Sony’s opinion on PSP-4000 is difficult to say. They have not officially announced anything regarding this matter. Jesse Divinch, the analyst of EEDAR recently provided a little clue with his statement that he thought that there could be no hope for the PSP in North America at that point. So, it could be guesses that the release of Sony PSP-4000 is just a rumor being spread across the world of internet and nothing more than that.
But Eurogamer is sure about the launch of Sony PSP-4000. According to reports they claim that not only Sony has planned to lauch PSP-4000 but has already decided to develop a more powerful success of PSP-4000. But when the question was asked to President of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, David Reeve, he stated that, "there are currently no plans for a PSP2." According to him his visits to Tokyo has not revealed any such launch or new PSP2. According to him the hands of Sony is full at this moment and they have just launched the PSP-3000. Therefore the company is more focused on the present generation platform and its reviews rather than thinking to launch any such other PSP2.
But there are rumors spreading across all corners that Sony themselves have announced details about a new PSP console dubbed as PSP-4000. So, there have been lots of confusions regarding the Sony PSP-4000 among gamers. The truth will only be learnt only when Sony genuinely releases the PSP-400.
Summary: Gamers are berserk over the issue and wish to learn what Sony’s opinion on PSP-4000 is. The detail of the new model which is expected to release is also sketchy and no clear. There have been some rumors on its features and details too. No one knows what actually lies in feature; if Sony has really planned to launch this PSP-4000 then it would be great to see what new features and refreshments they include in it.

I use my v-screen on racing games, mostly Gran Turismo. Draws you into the race, feels like you’re really in the car and gives much more of a fast paced and more exhilarating racing experience. My heart rate was definitely elevated while using the v-screen; more so then without the v-screen…provided much more of an adrenaline rush. Also tried it on Madden NFL Football where it creates a big screen effect, more pronounced players and player interaction-almost 3-D and created a deeper more enriched field environment…almost like I was on the field playing QB or RB each set of downs…was awesome. I haven’t taken it off yet, the PSP screen seems dull now without it.

For a used psp it came in better shape than I thought. Only gripe I have is that it didn’t come with a memory stick but it’s still a pretty good deal
When I purchased My psp I thought for the price it was I was thinking that it was going to be scratched up a lot but they proved me wrong! When I got my psp it was in good condition not a scratch on it! I highly recommend this product
This is my 2nd PSP 1000 model after my first one was stolen and I love having this one. I have seen new features that have been added. Such as the Playstation Store, which allows you to buy PSP games directly from the system itself as long as you have a wifi connection. They recently added a comic book reader to it, which allows you to read comic books straight from the PSP.
My overall rating for this product is far above what they have allowed me.
If you are looking for something for your children for this holiday season, pick one up.
This is by far the worst AC adapter I’ve had for a portable gaming system. It barely charges the battery + it’s life span is incredibly short. I’ve got at least 2 and a half months at the most before It die out. I’ve had plenty of AC adapter from DS’s and old gameboys over the years, that last 5-10x longer. Save your money, and don’t buy this. Anyone that say other wise, is throwing a sale tactic at you.
Removed the adapter from packaging, plugged it in, plugged it into the PSP and… it doesn’t work. I recommend avoiding this product and this manufacturer. Serves me right for cheaping out and not buying the official Sony adapter (which I’m going to do now).
Two three weeks after placing order to arrive. After viewing the package it’s no wonder as to why…….it was shipped from China. We thought maybe there was an internal problem with the PSP itself and since its still under warranty shipped it back and received a brand new one. It was only then that we discovered that it was not the PSP, but the chargers. This charger did not work upon receipt. Very disappointed! Wish I had payed more attention to the reviews before purchasing, would not have ordered if I had.
I bought this as a suggested item from Amazon when I purchased a PSPgo as a Christmas gift for my partner. However, it doesn’t work with the PSPgo device, so it was a waste of my money. Make sure you purchase a different home and travel charger if you need a second one for your PSPgo.
If your a girl like my little one is you’ll love it. Just make sure she is over the age of six since Sony has done such a poor job of making games for girls and children under 6ish. That’s all I can say bad about it. It is truly an awesome piece of tech! I use it even though it’s “purple.” Just wish you could change out every piece but the back of it is fully colored in and out. Sorry one other thing about this model I did not like. But I tend to be extreme on my views of things. Let’s see.. great battery life, awesome game play and buttons, plays movies flawless… oh and speakers could be a little better. That’s about it!
This is the 2nd time purchasing a psp. My original broke last week. I chose the HM psp primarly on the lilac color and the pair of included umd. On the psp itself, there is firmware to use a composite tv. I am glad that there is no HM logo on the psp but I still have the opiton of using the stickers.
I finally bought this for my daughter’s 7th birthday PSP 3000 Limited Edition Hannah Montana Entertainment Pack, after she has been asking for one since she was 5 yrs old and she is loving it. It also helps if your girl and I hope you would buy this color only for your girl, loves Hannah Montana also. This limited edition comes with great useful accessories like the memory stick which every PSP needs, colorful decorative stickers and they even through in a UMD video with three Hannah Montana episodes. What a great value for this package, so if your girl loves Hannah Montana and wants a PSP this would definitely be a great choice.
This PSP is fun and easy to use. It feels nice in your hands and is really light weight. The only problem I have with it is a that it doesn’t hold a charge very well, but it still does a pretty good job.
Good quality with a nice long and heavy duty cord.
Price seems a little steep.
I bought a few aftermarket chargers for my PSP from various stores and they all were junk or had broken after a couple uses. I came across this item and ordered it. I must say I am very happy with it. The quality is very very good and it is very long. The thing can reach into the back seat. I use it all the time and it is still holding up after many months of use.
I keep this adapter in my car at all times, it works like it should.
Great value, does just what you’d buy it for and the price is decent for a genuine Sony product.
