An Online black psp Guide

The price-value is excellent. This is exactly what I was looking for my PSP-1000. It fits and I still use it today!
PSP Goes to Black Screen When Starting a Game?
I have a psp 2001 on cfw 5.50 gen d3. It starts up fine but when i try to play black psp a game sometimes it will just go to a black screen. The green light is still on and the memory card light still flashes. What could be wrong with this. Is there a way to fix this? I have tried a few things but they didn't seem to work. Thanks in advanced.
The Sony Psp is one of the world most popular game consoles available today. One of the most popular Iso is Pokemon black . Now many people are looking for ways to download the Iso Pokemon black for their Psp.

![An Online black psp Guide Men in Black [UMD for PSP]](http://psp2auctions.com/images/a/51tUx9vxrNL._SL160_.jpg)

What can I say? I went against the tide and bought a PSPgo. Everyone was complaining about how you couldn’t transfer your umd’s to digital and get this. If you have the original PSP, why do you need this again? Just stop complaining. For the rest of us who didn’t have a PSP? This thing is great for the price available on this site. 14 gigs built in, lots of fantastic games in the PSN store, and a nice lookin’ system. The analog stick doesn’t feel out of place for long, but doing things such as the “claw” hold for Monster Hunter would be pretty hard to do on this.
Overall, I can’t find many flaws to this..one flaw is not being able to check exact battery life, but that’s alright by me.
5/5 for this one.
OK, I already owned a PSP, and I had an 8 gig memory card to boot, so I could have done exactly what this system can do. Honestly, when this system came out, I was pissed off at the all download format. This eliminates me being able to trade in old games, or buy used ones? What a horrible idea? But then, the more reviews I read the more interesting this system became to me. Basically, I traded in my system (which had a few dead pixels and a really loud drive) and all of my umd’s for roughly the cost of the system. I had to pay tax. Oh well. Here is what I have noticed that is different.
1) the screen on the go is definitely smaller, and I who work in television notice this, it is smaller, but it is definitely sharper.
Advantage: PSP 2000
2) The price of downloads is definitely higher than buying a copy used.
Advantage: PSP 2000
3) You CANNOT change the battery, but on average I get more power out of a single charge than did with either of my 2000 batteries. I don’t like that I cannot change batteries, but without all the loading, I can play longer on a charge.
Advantage: Tie
4) Overall, the go system is smaller and easier to port around.
Advantage: Go
5) The buttons on the go were funky at first, but I have really come to appreciate the feel of them. I am not as crazy about the bumpers, but as a whole, the location and feel are better.
Advantage: Go
6) To put the system in sleep mode, I can do it the old way by quick sliding the power switch, OR I can add the option to put it to sleep by closing it, which I do.
Advantage: Go
7) I can easily pause a game and shut the system completely down. EVERY game has this option because it is part of the hardware. I feel this can and is a system software, and the older PSP’s should get this eventually.
Advantage: Go, for now. Tie if the 2000 ever got this
Advantage: Go
9) Location of volume, screen brightness and equalizer moved to the top of the system, home button on the top panel. This gets ultra annoying when shutting the system down. I have lowered the volume all the way several times or change the equalizer. Not easy to access when screen is up.
Advantage: PSP 2000
10) No UMD Drive, means I don’t have to hear the damn thing spinning all the time. Also, loading seems to have been improved, but this should be obvious since you don’t need to access a disc.
Advantage: Go
11) The downloadable library online does not have all the games I want. When I traded them in, there were only 4 games I didnt want to lose. I got 3 of them from downloads, I cannot get the 4th. *(Exit)
Advantage: PSP 2000
12) You can link Bluetooth devices, including a PS3 controller to this.
Advantage: Go, but then again, if I am at home, I will play my ps3, not my PSP Go
Well, I made this review long enough, so I will stop with points, but alas I am happy with my upgrade. I am upset that none of my old accessories will work for this system, Sony has a wonderful reputation for not adding backwards compatability, but then again I can understand why. The Go is not only a cosmetic upgrade, but an electronic one as well. One that has different power requirements. I still support my local game stores as well, by going in to buy network cards for game downloads, and I like it that way.
Let’s be honest, the gaming industry hates trading and selling. Sony is only the first company to dive into download only format. The other companies will follow suit eventually, make no mistake about it.
The pro’s and con’s are quite the list, and overall it comes down to personal preference. I like that I dont have to carry so much stuff with me now, but I don’t like not being able to sell my games. Which is more important to you is up to you to decide.
In the end, the goal is to have fun. the PSP 3000 (yes, I had a 2000 not made anymore) is definitely a worthwhile machine. I liked my 2000, but I plan on using this for all my media, including my mp3 player.
Good luck!
So, like the previous reviewer, I also recently bought a PSP Go after having owned a silver PSP 2000 for a couple of years. And, I loved my 2000. The only things I didn’t like were 1) having to carry around silly little UMDs and 2) the size of the UMD-based PSPs.
Prior to buying the PSP Go, I had only ever played a mounted display unit at a retail store. The device seemed nice, but since getting the Go meant giving up a couple of years worth of games, it was a big risk for me. Nevertheless, I (obviously) took the risk and bought the device, and I am very happy with it. The Go is a very sleek and techy gadget. The slider is nice, the design is simple, and best of all – this PSP easily fits in my pocket or bag.
It’s true that many (most) of the games on PSN are a bit more expensive than the used versions of their UMD counterparts, but right now I find myself only playing a few full-scale PSP games (and some rare games are cheaper on PSN – like The Warriors and MGS: Portable Ops), and none of the prices are too absurd. It’s true that you can’t resell these titles, but personally I’m not too worried about that.
The controls on the Go did take a while to get used to, after regularly playing games on the 2000 and on the PS3’s Dualshock 3. However, after an hour or so of play, I think I like the Go controls more than the 2000’s. The analog stick seems tighter and the buttons are much more clicky (in a good way).
The screen on the Go is fantastic, and games and video look much better than on the 2000. I was blown away by how crisp and striking Super Stardust Portable looks on the Go screen!
Finally, I bought the Go in part to take advantage of the current Digital Game Pack offer, which means every Go comes with download codes for LittleBigPlanet PSP, Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters, and Socom 3. However, while I bought the Go five days ago, I still haven’t received the email from Sony with the voucher codes. Also, if you get a Go, it’s important to know that a screen protector and/or a case are a must for this little system (Why couldn’t they have made it a nice clamshell design?). However, the official Sony-made PSPgo Protective Case – Black is absolutely terrible (it will protect the Go quite well, but the Go is hard to remove from the case and is nearly unusable in the case).
Overall the Go is a really neat device that has generally been panned by the gaming media and by some PSP enthusiasts. Despite the negative press, it is the perfect device for some gamers’ mobile needs, and it’s also promising to see Sony trying to address some of the piracy problems it was faced with on the earlier PSP models.
Edit: After owning this system for a week, I still haven’t received the games from the Digital Game Pack promo (They come as voucher codes in an email from Sony Playstation). Playstation Customer Service (which was totally unhelpful and less than nice) said it could take up to two weeks to get the promo. Really? Two weeks for an automated email? I can get a passport from the massive US bureaucratic passport office in that amount of time! Anyway, the system itself is great, but the promotional offer and Playstation customer support have been pretty disappointing.
First off this is my first PsP system so I do not know how it compares to the 1000-3000 models. All I know is that I wanted to be able to play classic PlayStation games like Castlevania:SOTN without looking like I was playing a little kids toy in front of family/friends. Being 34 years old the library of down-loadable PSone games was my selling point. I spent many hours 10+ years ago on these games so jumped at the chance to get a portable. My experience so far has been that the games are easy to download and they work like a charm.
This is a wonderful item but don’t be like me and expect something as polished as the ipod touch/ Itunes combo. The PsP and Media Go do what they are supposed to without the style of apple. In my opinion the potential for this device is unlimited and I hope Sony continues support for it. The Media Go store is a little bare boned at the moment so I am hoping they add more classic games to it in the near future. As far as current generation PsP games I cannot speak to the quality of them as I purchased this as mainly a Playstion One system. The quality of the system compared to the price is a bit questionable, the plastic feels a tad flimsy and cheap. It does not seem to have an impact on gameplay and the buttons have all held up very well. Overall I give this a 4/5 stars.
I am enjoying a lot! I cannot compare with other handheld systems, since I never played any other. But the PSP brings me a lot of fun.
Not long ago I had a decision to make. Did I want to buy an Apple iPod Touch, or a Sony PSP? I only had enough money to buy one, and I was really itching for a new portable entertainment gizmo. After buying the PSP I’m really glad it was what I decided on, but for very different reasons than I expected.
First of all, the reason why I decided to go with the PSP was that you simply get more for your money. The screen is bigger, the memory is infinitely expandable (buy as many memory cards as you want), the battery is replaceable, it plays movie discs should you have the desire, it can play MP3s, and it’s a full-blown game system to boot. I initially thought I would use it primarily as a video player, and maybe get a game or two on the cheap. Not quite how things turned out.
The screen on this baby is indeed beautiful, but it scratches easier than a pair of cheap sunglasses. The digital controls are perfect, but the analog controls are frustrating (bad placement, wacky sensitivity). The system interface on the other hand is a model of great product design, allowing you to do most anything you might want to do quite easily. For instance, during video playback one button press brings up a mini menu and a second button press can adjust aspect ratio (allowing your wide-screen utube videos to fill the screen with no gaps). The video playback on this device is truly impressive. MP3 playback on the other hand just isn’t as intuitive as it would be a full-blown MP3 player like an iPod, so I don’t recommend using the device in this way unless it’s your absolute only option. The problem with video playback of course is that video takes up way too much space at high quality (I average about 150 megabytes for 20 minutes), and has to be converted to be compatible. So unless you fancy yourself swapping high-capacity memory cards and doing mass-conversions into the wee-early hours of the morning, you aren’t going to enjoy trying to watch lots of complete TV shows unless they’re around 13 episodes encoded at low-quality.
On the other hand, I was quite shocked when I actually started buying games for the system. Most games for the system retail at $30.00 to $40.00 brand new, and can be found used for a ridiculous $10.00 to $15.00. That’s on average $10 to $20 cheaper than a DS game used! What this meant to me, is that while I own about 5 DS games that I bought over a period of years, in a matter of a little over a month I bought around 10 games! And these are not underpowered portable games, but full-featured gorgeous console-quality rivaling (or exceeding!) masterpieces like Crisis Core, Daxter, Lumines II, Monster Hunter Freedom, and Ridge Racer! If you are craving more console games like Wipeout and other PSOne and PS2 games, you simply MUST buy this system just for the crazy values! And strangely, there are games that actually BETTER on the PSP than on their full-blown console versions. Lumines, which I had played on the Xbox 360, and Virtua Tennis 3, are both enormously MORE enjoyable on the PSP. Maybe it’s just the those games feel when you hold them in your hands, and maybe it’s the way the graphics scale down. Maybe it’s the great feeling of booting up a game in seconds without turning on your TV. Whatever the reason, there are indeed gaming experiences that are just plain better on the PSP.
Now that I’ve gotten into the PSP scene, I find myself wishing I had a wireless Internet connection, just so I could download some games onto my PSP. I also wish my friends had one so I could enjoy playing some games with them. But even without Internet, the system is an absolutely tremendous value. And now I find myself getting excited for portable games that are coming out, like a portable Gran Turismo, and the next Jak game! If you love PlayStation games or extreme gaming values you need to buy a PSP. Just don’t buy one new. You can get a used PSP for a little over a hundred dollars. Now that’s a steal!
I have had PSP’s on and off since they first launched. I remember getting my first Psp and being so happy to have a sweet new piece of technology. It played games had Internet could load it with movies and music awesome. After selling my psp 1000 to a friend after many months of enjoyment I decided to take a break from PSP. I noticed that they launched this new and improved System so I though hey Ill go buy one and for the last 2 years its been my best friend, not as a game system but as an I pod killer. I use this thing to listen to music watch movies and surf the web when I am bored. The PSP 2001 series has some flaws it feels to me a bit cheaper than the old 1000 but it does have new features and the processing and internet capabilities are better. Over all this is a great multi media platform but as a game system its got great looking games for a handheld but the library is not there.
The only cool thing is the PSX classic section on the PSN. Final Fantasy on my Psp if only I was still in 6th grade this would have been a dream.
OK you do know SCEA was at first place with the first Generation playstation 2 now when the big corp level hot shots went from bad to sick. this handy portable is made in China using sub-standard parts. I say. I got my from a delaer where I live. the next think I know it on opening the box for the first time. the darn thing is dead. I taken it to SCEA for service. and SCEA made there choice to kill the service on my brand new PSP. Due to Full cost and defective stickers that is done in China the worlds worst manifactor in computer tech in the world.
The support of SCEA is realy bad. then there is a problem. Normaly these days Things are made to be broken like Hewlett Packard the worlds worst Persional computers and the worlds worst Notebook computers in the world. it comes to no suprise. simply Do nothing and let the warrenty die then demand to keep buying the same thing over and over and over. Fight the consumers on rather then helping out. all for the power of money and power. Well I told them I am no longer SCEA and Hewlett Packard customer any more. even Nintendo and Sega is just as bad. Sega of America did not take care of my defecitve produts. Just keep it and sell it to some other customer. I refuse to may hundreds of dollars to fix one bloody disc. Hewlett Packard also dose the same thing as well. When I question there sick evel service and pay up or get the hell out. Sell my computer to some other customer and have Hewlett Packard make the extra money selling the same product twice at above ful retail price. Why are these corp level is ripping off the consumers?
The games for the PSP Is to total crap. I lost 450.00 from day one on PSP well game systems ,two games and a memory stick. then the sales tax comes extra. efter speding 70.00 on each game and get 5.00 back from selling it used. and all sales are fianl when I asked for the delaer for exhange or refund. The request was kicked out due to the fact of making copies of the Game System is not allowed. I do not shop at Game Stop/Software etc and Best Buy due to this. Copy the game system? who the heck do I do that?
its not a right to for these big hot shots to sell bad products on the market. its noted as black market. Then kill consumer rights is one thing realy rude
rembmer todays business ALL SALES ARE FINAL! NO EXCHANGES AND NO SERVICE ON REPAIRS. BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK FOOL IS THE CORP LEVEL GAME NOW. ITS TIME TO PUT THE STOP TO THIS. LETS STOP BUYING CRAP!
CORP LEVEL SECA(SONY),SEGA,NINTENDO,HEWLETT PACKARD AND MICROSOFT. are designed to kill your credit report and finance lost.
I Do have a bad credit report. Due to my doing my shopping with bad brand names products.
I am not allowed to apply for a credit card never the less. its that bad.
I do not want to see that happen to any one else. What had happend to me
I bought this case because it advertised that ” Traveler case converts to a stand for movie watching ” This is partially true, the headphone connector on the PSPgo is in the bottom of the equipment, when using your headphones (even Sony’s PSPgo headphones) with this case, the case won’t rest flat making it useless for an stand.
Even when not using your headphones, the stand doesn’t work that well, unless the surface you are placing the case on has a lot of friction, in most working conditions as in the table of an airplane the case will end up flat open.
Seems that whoever design the case didn’t tested it with a PSPgo in it, or at least they didn’t test it with headphones
Ok overall case has great materials but some uncovered spots and its awkward to get the psp in the case.Overall I rate 4 stars compared to other cases .I haven’t to play it with the flap open on top of table so I don’t know if it works ,once you get it in is easier to flip the screen up and down . This cover make the pspgo a little more bulky making the device more comfortable while playing .
